Let's see what we can do here!

Hello, and welcome to your learning area.

I want you to know that I have a lot of faith in you and your ability to complete the work I post here. I also believe you need this in order to learn the most you can.

I'll post the required work here.  Below, there is a place for each of you to leave comments (which may how you submit your assignments).

We will have to learn to use this together. For now, here are some of the things we have to agree with in order for this to work.

  1. There are some basics that all students must complete. You will be able to complete them quicker than the rest of the class, because you are able to do it this way. Hopefully, this will keep you from being bored and frustrated in class.
  2. There are some things I want you to do, so I can use it with my other classes and students.  In other words, you will become "teachers" with me. This may include video, audio, presentations, and other things we can discuss.
  3. I want you to have fun, work together, and learn a lot. This is an opportunity I think you will enjoy, but if you do not, be sure to let me know. You do not HAVE to do the class this way, I just thought you might like it better.
  4. Do not think I am ignoring you.  As a matter of fact, I will probably spend more time with you online than I will for my regular classes.
  5. In class, please ask questions any time you need to. Don't let this frustrate you in a different way.
So, here's what I would like you to do today.
  1. After reading the items above - let me know if this is something you want to do by CLICKING THE COMMENT LINK below and posting your reply.  Include only your first name.
  2. While you are commenting, ask any questions you might have.
  3. Complete the "quiz" below.  Use the Government & Civics Booklet, then quiz yourself. I'll show the results to you at the end of class.
